JOHN PASSMORE EDWARDS |

After moving to Cornwall Dean Evans was drawn to discovering why the name of Passmore Edwards should be carved into the front of so many Cornish buildings. On the way, he has become involved in the restoration of the Blackwater Institute, the first of the Passmore Edwards’ bequests, and in developing this project to mark the centenary of Edwards’ death in 2011. Always eager to share the knowledge he has gained of the life of this extraordinary Cornishman, Dean has written articles and addressed history groups in Cornwall and in London.
